Mission
The Seventh Day Baptist Board of Christian Education promotes the local church preparation of Christians for maturity by encouraging and modeling specific, active commitment to Evangelism, Nurture, Discipleship, and Stewardship.
Purpose
Assist local churches as they:
- Spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
- Teach acceptance and observance of the Sabbath
- Encourage participation and learning in Church, Sabbath School, Youth Group, Camping Program, Bible Study, and other evangelistic and educational programs.
- Nurture persons in a Christian covenant life-style
- Equip lay leadership for total Christian Ministry
- Promote the teaching of Seventh Day Baptist distinctives
- Develop materials and programs to fulfill Christ's Great Commission
