Scripture Memory Verses
2008-2009
Theme: “Pray”
The Scripture Memorization Program for 2008-2009 Conference Year will focus on Conference President Ed Cruzan’s theme: “Pray.” The Board of Christian Education has worked with the Conference President to chose these verses to be memorized by the family. Anyone who prefers may memorize one or more of these verses from a different Bible version.
A list of persons from each church who have completed this Scripture Memorization Program should be submitted to the Board of Christian Education Office. The postmarked deadline is July 2, 2009. Certificates for those who memorize all verses will be distributed at the 2009 General Conference.
All Scripture quotations in this list are from the HOLY BIBLE, NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION © 1973, 1978, 1984 by International Bible Society.
