Proverbs 31:10-15

An excellent wife who can find?
She is far more precious than jewels.
The heart of her husband trusts in her,
and he will have no lack of gain.
She does him good, and not harm,
all the days of her life.
She seeks wool and flax,
and works with willing hands.
She is like the ships of the merchant;
she brings her food from afar.
She rises while it is yet night
and provides food for her household
and portions for her maidens. (ESV)

When women get together, the discussion often turns to“MEN”, in particular, husbands. Many try to “one up” each other with stories of a man’s shortcomings. I know Steve is not perfect. He is, however, the most wonderful and godly man I know. He is the only man I want as the father of our children. He dances with our girls, wrestles with our son, disciplines with love, attends field trips, prays with them when they are sick, sad or happy and tucks them in at night. He knows me better than I know myself and always supports me and loves me, no matter how unkind I may be. He is my very best friend. What if instead of telling tales on our spouses, we boast of their value?
