Psalm 18:20-24
The Lord dealt with me according to my righteousness;
according to the cleanness of my hands he rewarded me.
For I have kept the ways of the Lord,
and have not wickedly departed from my God.
For all his rules were before me,
and his statutes I did not put away from me.
I was blameless before him,
and I kept myself from my guilt.
So the Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness,
according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight. (ESV)

There is an eternal reward for those who are faithful in serving the Almighty God. Do not look at this as an issue of ‘works’ but rather an act of obedience that just happens to garner eternal blessings. God wants to use us to further his kingdom so there are rewards for those who diligently do his will. Look at the parable of the talents in Matthew 25—God relishes in saying “well done good and faithful servant.” Seek more opportunities to serve the Lord. Do you want to hear, “Depart from me”? Be a faithful servant.
