Luke 12:27-28
Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass, which is alive in the field today, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith! (ESV)

I really dislike it when God points out that I lack faith! There are so many areas of my life where I should be reminded daily of the lilies of the field and their beauty. So many days I look in my closet and wonder what I’m going to wear, forgetting to be thankful that I have clothes at all, let alone enough to make me pause for a decision about which outfit to choose. God doesn’t care about what I wear, for he sees me as beautiful no matter what my adornments. God created each flower in the field, and yet even the most delicate and beautiful blossom doesn’t compare to the beauty he sees in me, or in you. God will always take care of us, and we don’t have to worry about our beauty.
