Luke 12:32-34

“Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell your possessions, and give to the needy. Provide yourselves with moneybags that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. (ESV)

by Paula Davis

Take a glance around the room you are sitting in right now. How many of the “treasures” you see would be destroyed if your home burned down or a hurricane struck? How much would you miss them if they were destroyed? Now think of some of the Heavenly treasures you have stored up. Do you have children, or maybe even grandchildren? Do you teach a Sabbath School class or help with the youth group? Maybe you give to missionaries around the country and around the world who are spreading the gospel to people you may never meet.
