Hebrews 1:10-12
And,
“You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning,
and the heavens are the work of your hands;
they will perish, but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment,
like a robe you will roll them up,
like a garment they will be changed.
But you are the same,
and your years will have no end.” (ESV)

I would like to think that when I leave this earthly realm, some of my creative efforts will survive me. However, I am fully aware that both my physical life and the work of my hands are finite; only my spirit is eternal.
Verses 11 and 12 acknowledge that even the Creator’s handiwork will perish someday and will be changed into something new. But, thank God, Jesus will remain the same. The passing of years will not cause his love to fail.
