James 5:19-20
My brothers, if anyone among you wanders from the truth and someone brings him back, let him know that whoever brings back a sinner from his wandering will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins. (ESV)
by Leota Stevens
I love this verse; it is so ripe with possibilities. It reinforces my belief that there is hope for the wayward soul. It also presents the compelling reason for those who walk with the Lord to be observant of the needs of others. Our loving interaction in the lives of those who go astray may actually have eternal impact on them and on us.
