1 Chronicles 16:8-13
Oh give thanks to the Lord; call upon his name;
make known his deeds among the peoples!
Sing to him; sing praises to him;
tell of all his wondrous works!
Glory in his holy name;
let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice!
Seek the Lord and his strength;
seek his presence continually!
Remember the wondrous works that he has done,
his miracles and the judgments he uttered,
O offspring of Israel his servant,
sons of Jacob, his chosen ones! (ESV)

Entering the church, 3-year old Andrew asked Grandpa, “Is this where we meet Jesus?” Are you like Andrew? Do you meet Jesus in church, or is it a flurry of responsibilities, activities, and family relationships? What did God receive from you in church this week? Read all of David’s psalm (vs. 8–36). Write out all the descriptors of God. Try focusing your thoughts on God by praying, “God, you are … (alpha, creator, peace, etc.). Devotedly, seek the Lord in your worship. “‘You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,’ declares the Lord” (Jeremiah 29:13–14a, NIV).
