John 14:15-17
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. (ESV)

What a glorious promise of hope! Jesus asked the Father on my behalf to send another Helper and Counselor to live in me. Imagine! God sent His Holy Spirit to live inside of me when I was born again. Jesus said that the people of the world cannot receive the Holy Spirit because they cannot see Him, they do not know Him, nor do they recognize Him (v. 17). However, Jesus makes it clear that I am able to know and recognize the Holy Spirit because He lives with and in me constantly. It is His job to help me enter higher levels of understanding in God’s truths. What a great companion to minister to me!
