Psalm 119:73-77
Your hands have made and fashioned me;
give me understanding that I may learn your commandments.
Those who fear you shall see me and rejoice,
because I have hoped in your word.
I know, O Lord, that your rules are righteous,
and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.
Let your steadfast love comfort me
according to your promise to your servant.
Let your mercy come to me, that I may live;
for your law is my delight. (ESV)

Being a Christian is hard sometimes. Unbelievers watch our every move and wait for us to mess up or to break under the stress of some of our life situations. The more we stay faithful and trusting, the better example we set as a Christian. Each time we stay faithful through a tough time, we build up our faith and that makes facing tough times easier the next time and the next. Let’s pray today that we might be good Christian examples by staying faithful to God during the tough times.
