—Exodus 3:1-12
by: Kristin Camenga.
Moses was called to a difficult mission: to rescue his people from slavery in Egypt and bring them to their new land. Moses realized that he was not worthy or adequate for this mission, but God reminded Moses of His constant presence. Just as God had heard the cries of the Israelites and chose Moses to lead them to freedom, God continues to hear the prayers of those who long for justice. Is God calling you to help restore justice, whether to one person or a large group? While the mission may seem impossible, remember that God will be with you in any task to which He calls you—just as He was with Moses.
