Planning is very important. As the saying goes, “When you fail to plan, you plan to fail.” However, planning without God? Big mistake. As children of God, our plans must be God-driven. We should not be like the rich young fool in the parable who was busy amassing wealth with the thought of having it for many years. He was thinking only of himself; God was nowhere in the mix. That very night, he died. All our plans should be directed by God. If we are the directors of our own lives, we insult God. Instead, we must give all the plans to God saying, “Not my will, but Yours, Lord.”
