Often, individuals aspire to a leadership position for the power to rule over others. But Jesus showed us that those who are in leadership should actually serve those they lead. Servant leadership is a term that is thrown around today, but few actually practice it. I have discovered that when I serve or give to others, I am more blessed that they are, both spiritually and materially. People went to Jesus for help and healing because word spread that He was a servant leader. Do your brethren and members of the community come to you for help? What kind of a leader are you?
