—Ezekiel 1:5-14
by: Kennedy Ochs.
Let’s be honest, this description tends to create more confusion than clarity the more you read it. These creatures were unlike anything on Earth, so they are impossible to describe, and impossible to imagine accurately. But, I think that is the point. Even when we think we have everything on this Earth figured out, we can read this passage to remind us that there will always be more to God and His creation than we can fathom—more than we can begin to understand. I actually find it comforting that God is incomprehensible to my human mind because it convinces me that He can truly understand anything I am going through.
