Paul first met Priscilla, Aquila’s wife, in Corinth. Priscilla shared the natural workload with her husband as a tent-maker and she shared the spiritual workload, with the associated risks. Priscilla and her husband held church services in their home in Corinth, went with Paul to Ephesus, and remained there to continue the work. This included teaching Apollos, after discerning there were key elements missing from his understanding of the gospel. Paul never mentioned Aquila without Priscilla. She was grounded in Christ and instrumental to the ministry. May her example encourage, inspire, and motivate women around the world who think they cannot be used by God.
