—Luke 18:35-43

The faith and persistence of the blind beggar in this passage is admirable. As soon as he heard that Jesus was walking by, he cried out to Jesus. Those around the blind man tried to keep him quiet, but he got even louder. He believed that Jesus had the power to heal him. It was because of this faith that Jesus healed him. More than that, the man did not just walk away afterward. Instead, he praised God, followed Jesus, and allowed himself to be living testimony. Do we demonstrate this type of faith? What do you do after you are healed or saved from trials? Let us look to Jesus, believing that He will heal us and committed to giving testimony when He does.
