—John 14:1-14
by: Angie Osborn.
My husband loves to explore. He enjoys finding different routes to various destinations. I, however, am more directionally challenged and prefer to find one way that works and stick to using that way. When I do that, I feel secure: I know where I am going; I know how long it will take to get there; I know where I can stop along the way. In this passage, we are assured of our security in following Christ, the only way to the Father. When we choose to give our lives to Christ and follow Him, we do not need to worry about how to “get to” the Father. Jesus has provided the way to a right relationship with Him and the directions never change.
