—Psalm 15
by: Jasmine Lynch.
Yesterday’s devotion told what the priests had to do for the people so God could dwell among them. Here, the Psalmist tells what we must do ourselves so we can dwell on God’s Holy Mountain. We are the temple of God (2 Corinthians 6:16). David posed the question, “Who dwells on God’s Holy Mountain?” and then provided the answer. We cannot claim ignorance of what we must do to exist in the presence of a Holy God. Our love for God is shown by how we treat our neighbor. We must stand firm on God’s truth, love our neighbor as ourselves, and be unmovable (1 Corinthians 15: 58).
