The earth is the LORD's and the fullness thereof,
the world and those who dwell therein,
for he has founded it upon the seas
and established it upon the rivers.
Who shall ascend the hill of the LORD?
And who shall stand in his holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not lift up his soul to what is false
and does not swear deceitfully.
He will receive blessing from the LORD
and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
Such is the generation of those who seek him,
who seek the face of the God of Jacob. Selah

How can we be pure enough to enter into God’s presence? A pastor once shared this illustration. Holding up a Bible, he called it our Salvation. To represent each of us, he used a piece of paper. Placing the paper within the pages of the Bible, he demonstrated how Jesus’ blood covered all of us and our sins. When we stand in God’s presence, He will only see Jesus’ sacrifice covering us, making us pure. In addition to forgiving our sins, He wipes it all away as if we had never sinned in the first place. This is God’s grace. Let’s reject the deceit that separated us from Him, seek His face constantly, and sing His praises!
