Joseph and his brothers were not on good terms. We first read that Joseph ratted out his brothers, then that his father favored him more than his brothers. He was also the second youngest, but claimed he had dreamt that one day he would rule his family. No wonder his brothers were jealous! At the same time, why would Joseph make up such dreams? God’s work often comes through those we least expect. How often do we dismiss those younger or not in authority when they say they hear from God? How can we respond better to the work of the Lord, no matter who He chooses to work through?
