—Matthew 27:21-26
by: Andrew J. Camenga.
The situation seemed so simple. They were wrong and I should stop them. So, I explained why the action was wrong and proposed alternatives. After a few seconds, they explained that my perspective was not desired and that I should remove myself from their presence. They kindly offered to help me leave quickly. At that point, I figured I had done all that I could, "washed my hands of the situation," and left the site.
What standard should we use for choosing to "stand and fight" or choosing to "wash our hands"? Are there other choices?
