—Mark 9:28-32
by: Steven James.
Sometimes we are open and real with the Lord; sometimes we aren't. The disciples were alone with Jesus and were willing to learn about why they failed in making a difference in the life of that father's son. Jesus, in return, was real with them. He shared another reality with them, the reality of his coming death and resurrection. Instead of continuing being vulnerable and real with their Master, the disciples bit their tongues rather than admit ignorance. Let's be consistently honest with God in our successes, failures, and in our understanding or lack thereof.
