Imagine a country wherein the government leader does “what [is] right in the eyes of the LORD…not turn[ing] aside to the right or to the left” (v.2)! In 10 short years, God’s King Josiah proved himself trustworthy. Because of this, he could trust his royal servants to visit the Temple doorkeepers, entrusted with the people’s money, given to the supervisors, completely trusted to give the collection to the various skilled workers, trusted to purchase materials and repair of the Temple of God. What an amazing circle of trust! Can God trust us to seek and do His will? How can we prove and improve our trustworthiness?
