—1 Corinthians 15:15-28
The first fruits of verse 20 is a reference to the tithe of a harvest. The first crop was given to God to dedicate the whole of the harvest to God. In the same manner, Christ’s death and resurrection is the first fruit of resurrection, which leads to the resurrection of all God’s redeemed people. In the end, the whole of creation will be subject to God. Jesus will come first to take all power and dominion, raising to life those who have followed Him. Let us live our lives today giving our first fruits back to the Lord in preparation for Christ’s coming.'
