—Isaiah 59:1-8, 16-21
Have you ever wished you were a little bit taller so you could reach that top shelf or find something way back in the closet? Even the tallest people I know sometimes find there is something just out of reach. We can be thankful that God’s reach never falls short (v.1). He is always within reach of us, both for judgement and redemption. The only cause of separation from God is us. We can choose to do evil as verses 2-8 describe. Even that separation does not put us out of God’s reach. As verse 16 describes, God’s salvation, through His work alone, brings us back to Him.'
