—Ezekiel 33:1-9
by: Paula Davis.
Occasionally, the fire alarm randomly goes off at my workplace when there is no danger afoot. This has caused employees to become complacent—not heeding the warning and continuing their work. Someday, the danger will be real, and this complacency will put the employees and others in danger. God also alerts us to dangers around or within us, whether directly from His Word, in prayer, or through another person. When we heed these warnings, God provides a way out and saves us from calamity. But if the warnings are ignored, we put ourselves and possibly others in danger. Let us be alert today, heeding warnings that come our way.
