—Hebrews 2:5-13
by: Stephanie Ritchie.
We all know we deserve death. We also know that we don’t deserve what Jesus did for us on the cross. He suffered so that we may reap the benefit of knowing God. Sounds like grace, right? Grace is definitely the correct word to choose when thinking of our salvation through Christ’s death on the cross.
How often do you think about that grace? How often do you thank Jesus for dying for you? According to this passage, he is our brother, so why don’t we thank him like he is important to us. So often we thank everyone we come into contact that does something nice for us, but we may neglect to thank Jesus. Why is that?
