—John 11:8-16
by: Paula Reynolds.
The disciples were concerned with Jesus’ safety if he were to return to Judea. However Jesus had two reasons why he needed to go. One was to see about Lazarus and the other was to increase the faith of his followers (verse 15). Even though the disciples had been with Jesus since he called them and had seen his many miracles they still had moments of unbelief. Is it any different from us today? Don’t we still have moments of doubt? When our faith is shaken we need to remember the things that God has done for us and continue to follow him where he leads.
