—Micah 2:4-11
by: Rachael Osborn.
The people did not like Micah’s prophecy because they did not want to hear that they had sinned against God. They just wanted to hear good news. We are like that too sometimes. We do not want to have a bad day and when we do, we feel as though God has turned against us. We do not like to hear bad news because we want everything to be positive—but that is not how life is. Not everything is positive and we cannot blame everything negative on God. Sometimes we have to accept that He allows bad things to happen for a reason that we cannot understand. The important thing, in good times and bad, is to continue to give praise and glory to God.
