—Romans 3:9-20

Picture an old wooden wagon wheel with God as the hub and mankind riding on the outer iron tread. Every time the wheel makes a revolution, we are mashed into the dirt which represents sin and evil. It appears that we cannot avoid sin when in reality, because of freedom of choice, when sin (the dirt) comes around, we have the option to close our eyes and avoid becoming involved in the sin. Instead of experiencing the evil in this world, we reject the sin and run to the safety of God’s protection. God’s designs are perfect. Even though we see the evil, we know that God has defeated Satan and that Jesus has covered us with His sacrifice on the cross. Thanks be to God!
