—John 1:1-9
by: Gretchen Zwiebel.
At night, you can see a pinpoint of light from a great distance. But in the daylight, you cannot see a pinpoint of darkness from that same distance. The light that we can see represents the power of life given to us by our Creator. Light overpowers darkness. By not recognizing God as our Creator, we allow darkness to be our focus. It is as if we are able to ignore the light that we are trying to view that pinpoint of darkness through. Always looking for the darkness is choosing to ignore the light of God’s glory.
