We as human beings have natural prejudices. It can be difficult to accept others who are not like us. But in Christ Jesus, we are all the same at the foot of the cross. Peter had to be shown through a vision to accept Gentiles. “God does not show favoritism,” says verse 34 (NIV).
I am blessed to be a Seventh Day Baptist, knowing there are thousands around the world, all different in race, ethnicity, and language, but we are all one in Christ. We have been given the message to tell others about the gospel and what the Lord has done for us. He has made us the same in our differences: we are brothers and sisters in the family of God. We have the same message: Jesus Christ is the Savior and Lord of all.
