When I go to General Conference meetings and other family reunions, I find myself identifying youth and children by familiarity and similarity of appearance to their parents whom I know. Step, foster, and adopted children stand out as "different."
Truth and love (agape) are inseparable. He who has the discerning Spirit of Truth in him also has love, regardless of the degree of maturity, because love is begotten of God. It is not a task to be done or a commodity to be acquired for our use. Christlike love is a living character trait inherited by spiritual birth and only found in the children of God. "Outsiders" are identified as such by their lack of resemblance to Jesus or his characteristics.
