The following passage from the poem “The Vision” expresses a passion in sacrifice: “This is the sound of the underground, and the army is disciplined. Young people who beat their bodies into submission. Every soldier would take a bullet for his comrade at arms…. ‘for me to live is Christ and to die is gain.’ Sacrifice fuels the fire of victory in their upward eyes. Winners. Martyrs. Who can stop them?”(Greig and Roberts, 2006, p. 120). Is it our passion that fuels our faithful love relationship to serve our Lord? Does our soul truly cry, “Whatever you want, Lord”?
