—Psalm 119:57-64
by: Linda Harris.
The psalmist considered his ways (119:59). The Hebrew word for “considered,” means to braid, weave or fabricate. Adam Clarke said this means, “I deeply pondered them; I turned them upside down; I viewed my conduct on all sides” as when embroidering a cloth.
God asks us to contemplate our actions (Haggai 1:5, 7) or literally “set our hearts.” On what have you set your heart? To what are you committed? Have you recently considered your ways? If it’s been a while, make time for this today.
