—Ezekiel 37:1-14
by: Susie Sanborn.
“You will live” (v. 14, NIV) is a sought after phrase for people. As humans we desire life more than anything else. Money and worldly possessions seem like trinkets when compared with life. We desire life for ourselves and also for our loved ones. But if we look closer at verse fourteen, we see that God desires to give us more than just life. “I will put my Spirit in you and you will live,” is the beginning of the verse. In addition to earthly life God wants to give us his Spirit and life with him for eternity.
