—John 20:24-31

We give credit to Thomas for being an honest doubter. In today's terms, he would be the equivalent of a skeptic who says, "I want to see the evidence." There is an important role for apologetics in today's world: making arguments for the truth of the scriptures and Jesus' resurrection; standing for absolute moral truth in a world of relativism.
At some point, however, the evidence must give way to faith. Thomas saw the evidence and believed. Jesus did not reject his belief. He did give, however, a blessing to those who accept without the external evidence. Is our heart relationship to Christ enough evidence for us?
